Today we attended the Grand Opening Ceremony of the improvements to Blackburn Point Park in Osprey. It was a gorgeous day and we are so proud to be Sarasota County residents. The ceremony was well-planned but most of all the park is fabulous.  Several improvements and additions have been made to the park including parking for 56 boat trailers, a new restroom pavilion, rowing dock, rowing ramp and a motorized boat  ramp. There are fishing piers and picnic areas and beautiful trails throughout the park. The park will play a significant role in the range of rowing opportunities in our area...
